ICC-Angkor Holds Plenary Session to Review Result and Plan of APSARA Authority and Sambo Prei Kuk National Authority

Siem Reap: The 29th Plenary Meeting of the International Coordinating Committee for Angkor (ICC-Angkor) was held on the morning of December 16, 2022, in Siem Reap.

The 29th Plenary Session was attended by the Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and Chairman of the APSARA Authority, Ms. Phoeung Sakona, and Co-Chairs Ambassador of Japan, Mr. Mikai Masahiro, and the Ambassador of France, Mr. Jacques Pellet.

At 29th Plenary Session of the ICC-Angkor they will discuss the activity report of the APSARA Authority and the Sambo Prei Kuk National Authority on conservation, restoration, archeological research, human resources training, emergency safeguarding of temples and archeological sites.

In addition, during the Plenary Session, two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between the APSARA Authority the Angkor Union, the SIAVB (France), and JASA (Japan).
